Historic Rifle Ban

Obama's Historic Rifle Ban:
ATF believes antique rifles are a threat

The Obama administration used a bureaucratic block to ban the re-import of nearly one million American made M1 Garand and Carbine rifles.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) is now saying that they believe these antique rifles are a serious "threat" to public safety.

The 2nd Amendment of our Constitution states, "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

Are not our Government officials sworn not only to "defend the Constitution," but also to "support" it. I affirmed that I would "... support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic ..."

There seems to be something seriously wrong when the ATF and the President refuse to "support" our Constitution! But ATF believes the importation of these firearms, particularly the M1 carbine rifle and M-1911 pistol, poses a threat to public safety in the U.S.

But yes, they would a "threat" and hindrance to illegal operations and murders against innocent people like those American citizens in Waco, Texas for example.
